Luke Gribble is from New Zealand and since 2012 has lived in Leipzig, Germany. Luke has worked for the BBC, co-written and assistant directed a film for ZDF/ARTE, as well as working on multiple productions within art, culture, history, travel, current affairs and now, wildlife.
Yann is a French national and has worked for more than 10 years in the wildlife film business. He gained experiences as a camera assistant and cameraman in some of the most remote corners of the earth. After several years as a freelance cameraman, he teamed up with Henry M. Mix and set up the film production company Altayfilm GmbH to develop their visions in natural history filmmaking.
Henry was born in Berlin and trained as a vet. He began his research and filmmaking career in the 1980s on the remote Antarctic island ‘King George’. Since the 90s he has been in charge of various natural history film expeditions and research projects in places like Central Asia, Russia, China, Mongolia, Georgia and Vietnam. Henry is a member of the scientific advisory panel of the Foundation for Species Conservation.

Alo, the Head Wolf Monitor of the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Programme (EWCP), is from a village on the edge of Bale Mountains National Park and he is working in wolf research and conservation since the mid-90s. Alo is one of the best wolf spotters and his knowledge about the wildlife of the plateau was essential for this production
Biniyam Admassu †

Biniyam Admassu worked with FZS as a Tourism Development Technical Advisor from 2007 and was responsible for developing various ecotourism products and services in two community conservation areas as well as the Bale Mountains National Park. Biniyam was full of enthusiasm and passion for the conservation of Ethiopia’s biodiversity and the development of his country. On March 10, 2015 Biniyam lost his life while fighting a bush fire in his beloved Bale Mountains National Park.

Already driven at a very early age by a deeply rooted interest in both filmmaking and natural history, Pim has been aspiring to be involved in wildlife filmmaking for as long as he can remember. At home in Belgium he is now working in front of cameras as a TV presenter for children nature shows. In Ethiopia his work was to stand behind the lens to get some of the rare shots of jungle lions.
From the high Altiplano to the icy cold winters of Kamchatka, Phil traveled to many remote locations as a freelance cameraman. After studying filmmaking he discovered his love for nature and decided to focus his career in this genre. This brought him to a renowned production company in Germany and finally into the deep jungles of the Amazon.
Ermias Tesfaye is manager and owner of Press Ethiopia Tours, based in Addis Ababa. He and his team are well organised and they all have a great knowledge of their country’s history – and a good sense of humor. While not managing expeditions for TV crews Erimias and his team are guiding loads of tourists through beautiful Ethiopia.
